About Me

Based in New York, Dr. Avi Malkis practices with Oakwood Dental Arts on Staten Island, providing comprehensive care that encompasses cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge work, and dental implants. Dr. Avi Malkis also holds associate roles at the Connecticut practices Shel Dental in Norwalk and Yankee Family Dental Care in West Haven.

Dr. Avi Malkis' early background includes a position with the Brooklyn Crown Dental Lab as technician assistant, where his responsibilities included casting for crowns and creating denture bases. He also served as a dental assistant at the Renaissance Dental Center in Brooklyn. Following these roles, he attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS and graduated in the top 10 percent in his class. While attending the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Malkis was also awarded Honors in Head and Neck Anatomy as well as Oral Surgery. In his free time, Dr. Malkis enjoys running and spending as much time with his family as possible.
